Let us introduce you to “The Compass Crew,” a group of hard-working professionals that make up our ED and Board. Below you will see a group of amazing individuals, all with extensive experience in veterinary medicine. What is very unique about our board is that it is comprised of a well-rounded group of veterinary practice managers, private veterinary clinic owners, public health professionals, and many have extensive experience in the access to affordable veterinary care movement. Our board also represents multiple cultures, languages, and international medicine experience which we feel is a testament to our dedication to diversity in veterinary medicine.

Board President

Tracey Martin

Tracey has worked for years as a well respected and admired full service veterinary hospital manager. She has vast knowledge on community medicine, veterinary management, and team building skills. We hit the jackpot with Tracey as our FDCC President to lead our Compass Crew!

Executive Director

Dr. Sydney Bobo DVM

Dr. Bobo hails from Illinois and attended University of Illinois. Dr. Bobo loves surgery and is excited to be helping communities have access to more spay and neuter opportunities. Her favorite color is lime green, and when it comes to cats sign her up, she can't get enough of our feline friends! Dr. Bobo has three cats at home named Linus, Pink Floyd, & Boris. Dr. Bobo's favorite food is crab and her favorite animal is an entire species...you guessed it....FELIDAE :)

Dr. Mackenzie Gallegos DVM

Dr. Mackenzie Gallegos graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She enjoys providing timely care for animals in need and educating owners about primary care for their pets. She has a soft spot for geriatric and senior pets, ensuring they are pain-free and comfortable in their golden years. She likes eating food and trying new restaurants, watching movies, and kayaking in her free time. She hopes to visit every Texas State and National park someday.

Board Member- Secretary

Dr. Jackie DVM, MSFS

Dr. Jackie D has experience working years in private practice, and working in communities offering vaccine and preventative care. She currently works for the USDA as a public health veterinarian certifying fellow veterinarians for USDA accreditation and offering access to veterinary care on tribal reservations.
